Purchase Terms

By completing the registration for the Academy Dental Summit – ABO US 2026, the attendee declares having read, understood and agreed to the terms below.

1. Registration

Registration is personal and tied to the attendee informed at the time of purchase. The spot is confirmed only after payment approval.

2. Payment

All amounts are charged in US dollars (USD) and processed by secure payment platforms. Any taxes, bank fees, exchange rate charges or card operator fees are the attendee's responsibility.

3. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the official support channels. Refunds follow these criteria:

• Up to 30 days before the event: 80% refund of the amount paid;
• Between 15 and 30 days before the event: 50% refund;
• Less than 15 days before the event: 10% refund.

The percentages account for administrative costs, payment processing fees and commitments already made with suppliers.

4. Event Changes

The organization may change the program, speakers, schedule, venue or format of the event for operational, logistical, safety or force majeure reasons, always preserving the purpose and quality of the event. Such changes do not entitle attendees to a refund.

5. Cancellation by the Organization

If the event is cancelled at the organization's initiative, the attendee is entitled to a full (100%) refund of the amount paid for the registration.

6. Registration Transfer

Transfer of registration to another attendee may be authorized upon written request submitted at least 7 days before the event start date, subject to review and approval by the organization.

7. Image Release

By attending the event, the registrant authorizes, free of charge and for an indefinite period, the use of their image, voice and name in photographs, recordings and institutional, promotional and marketing materials of the Academy Dental Summit – ABO US.

8. Data Protection

Data provided during registration will be used exclusively for organization, communication and execution of the event, and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner ticket, whether included in the registration or purchased separately, requires compliance with the official dress code:

• Women: evening gown.
• Men: tuxedo with bow tie.

The organization may restrict access to the social event in case of non-compliance with the dress code.

10. Simultaneous Interpretation

The event may provide a simultaneous interpretation system via a compatible app or platform. Headphones will not be provided by the organization. Each attendee is fully responsible for bringing and using their own headphones or compatible audio device to access the interpretation service during the event.

Note: The availability of simultaneous interpretation is subject to technical and operational conditions and to the availability of service providers. In case of technical failures, unavailability, service cancellation or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the organization's control, the total or partial absence of simultaneous interpretation will not constitute a breach of contract nor entitle the attendee to a refund, discount or any form of compensation.

11. Acceptance

By completing the purchase, the attendee declares awareness and agreement with all the terms and conditions above, as well as with the Refund Policy of the Academy Dental Summit – ABO US 2026.
