Refund Policy

This policy sets out the cancellation and refund rules for registration in the Academy Dental Summit - ABO US 2026. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these conditions in full.

1. Refund tiers

The refunded amount is calculated based on the date the cancellation request is received by the organization, relative to the event start date:

• More than 30 days before the event: 80% refund of the amount paid.
• Between 15 and 30 days before the event: 50% refund of the amount paid.
• Less than 15 days before the event: 10% refund of the amount paid.

The retained amount covers operational costs, payment processor fees, production expenses and commitments already made with suppliers.

2. How to request

• Send your request by email to the official support channel, including the order number and reason.
• The date used for calculation is the date the email is received by the organization, during business hours (Brasília time).
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and can take up to 30 days, subject to the payment provider and card network timelines.

3. Cancellation by the organization

If the event is cancelled by the organization, the full amount paid will be refunded (100%), with no fees withheld.

4. Program changes

Changes to the program, speakers, venue or format for operational reasons, force majeure or safety do not entitle the attendee to a refund, provided the essence of the event is preserved.

5. Ticket transfer

Transferring a voucher to another person may be authorized upon written request, subject to review by the organization and provided it is requested at least 7 days before the event.
